A seven-month seasonal growing journey at Tomtit Farm, Matangi, Waikato.
Return to the Māra is a seasonal grower's journey for people who want to learn how to grow food and flowers in a way that's grounded, regenerative, and deeply connected to the land.
Over seven months November through May you'll learn to grow with the seasons, understand your soil as a living ecosystem, work with maramataka and biodynamic principles, build biodiversity in your māra, and become part of a small, close-knit community of people growing alongside you. This is not a weekend workshop or an online course. It is a hands-on, seasonal learning experience held monthly at Tomtit Farm. You'll leave each workshop with practical skills, seasonal resources, and a growing relationship with the land beneath your feet.
What's included:
Seven monthly workshops at Tomtit Farm (approx. 3 hours each)
Shared lunch after each workshop
Seasonal take-home resources, seeds, and seedlings
A 1:1 home māra visit
